Electrician, Apprentice

Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, the Electrician, Apprentice will require an individual willing to work directly under the supervision of a Journeyperson Electrician/Electrical Foreman and in conjunction with a Project Manager to effectively support the electrical requirements of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist crew journeyman electrician with PV system wiring.
- Reads and interprets drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of electrical equipment installations.
- Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
- Installs, examines, replaces or repairs solar PV systems.
- Installs, examines, replaces or repairs electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and other electrical components.
- Completion of Residential and Commercial Electrical installations.
- Committed to safe work practices in accordance with miEnergy Safety procedures and policies.
Requirements:
- Proven safety attitude and excellent attendance history.
- Must be a registered apprentice.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- Previous solar installation experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a demanding environment.
- Ability to take direction and follow instructions.
- Must have a strong work ethic, focus and accountability to meeting metrics.

Compensation
$24.80 - $28.60 per hour
